Rishi Kapoor is an acclaimed actor, director and producer in Hindi cinema, having played the lead role in more than 120 films. He received the National Film Award (1970) for his debut role as a child artist in Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker. In 1973, Rishi Kapoor played his first leading role in Bobby for which he received the Filmfare Best Actor Award (1974). In the 1970s, Rishi Kapoor delivered a series of musical hits like Khel Khel Mein, Laila Majnu, Hum Kisise Kum Naheen, Sargam and Karz. Over the last decade, Rishi Kapoor has delivered some of the finest performances of his career in movies like Love Aaj Kal, Agneepath, Kapoor & Sons, 102 Not Out, Mulk to name a few. For his performance in Do Dooni Chaar, he won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor (2011), and for his role in Kapoor & Sons, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor (2017). He was also honoured with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award (2008).
