Madhu Jain is the editor of The Indian Quarterly. She joined The Statesman in 1971, worked for several publications, including Sunday, The Telegraph and India Today; and was the New Delhi correspondent for the French daily La Croix. She is the author of the book, The Kapoors. The First Family of Indian Cinema, and has written chapters for many books. She has curated two art exhibitions—“Kitsch Kitsch Hota Hai” on kitsch and the contemporary imagination and the other on the painter Viswanadhan. She won the Habitat Arts Award for Curatorial Excellence for the “Kitsch Kitsch Hota Hai” exhibition.
