Jerry Pinto

Jerry Pinto is the author of Em and the Big Hoom, a novel for which he won the Hindu Lit for Life Award, the Crossword Award for Fiction, the Windham-Campbell Award administered by the Beinecke Library of Yale University and the Sahitya Akademi Award for a novel in English. He is also the author of the acclaimed Murder in Mahim and has translated several works of fiction and non-fiction from Marathi into English. He teaches journalism at a post-graduate media course at the Social Communications Media department, Sophia Polytechnic and is on the board of MelJol and SPARROW.
