Indra Acharja

Indra Acharja is a wildlife researcher by training and conservationist by profession. His research focuses on studying the avian ecology, freshwater ecosystems, livelihoods, and inter-linkages in the Himalayan region. He is passionate about using scientific insights to aid efforts to conserve vital services that species in ecosystems provide to humankind. Indra works with the Royal Society for Protection of Nature on the recovery of critically endangered white-bellied heron and other threatened species in the region.
