Dasho Tshering Wangda
Dasho Tshering Wangda joined the Royal Government of Bhutan in 1974 and served in various capacities for 38 years until he retired in 2013. He was conferred the Red Scarf (1995) by His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck in recognition of his dedicated services and his contribution to the Tsa-Wa-Sum. Dasho Wangda was awarded the National Order of Merit (Gold, 2012) for strengthening the Bhutan-India relationship by His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck during the National Day celebrations. Prior to his retirement, Dasho Wangda served as Bhutan’s first Consul General in Kolkata, West Bengal.
