Çiler İlhan is the editor-in-chief of Conde Nast Traveller Turkey and was the winner of the 2011 European Union Prize for Literature for her book Surgun, which has been translated into 15 languages including English; Exile . She has also been an editor at Chat and TimeOut Istanbul. Her essays, stories, book reviews, travel articles and translations into Turkish have been published in a variety of magazines, journals and newspaper supplements and she has contributed to anthologies; City and Man and City and Fear. She is a recipient of The European Union Prize for Literature. Chamber of Dream Merchants is her first book in English.
