India’s only Emmy-nominated journalist, Barkha Dutt became a household name with her front line reporting of the Kargil conflict between India and Pakistan. She has reported from some of the most dangerous spots in India and across the world, including Kashmir, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya and Egypt. She is the winner of more than 40 national and international awards including the Padma Shri (2008).
