About the Festival The Bhutan Festival of Literature, Art & Culture

Mountain Echoes literary festival is an initiative of the India Bhutan Foundation, in association with Siyahi. The festival is presented by Jaypee group, powered by Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan.

The seventh edition of the Mountain Echoes literary festival is being held from August 26-28, 2016 in Thimphu, Bhutan.

It brings together writers, biographers, historians, environmentalists, scholars, photographers, poets, musicians, artists, film-makers to engage in cultural dialogue, share stories, create memories and spend three blissful days in the mountains.

Mountain Echoes enjoys the patronage of Her Majesty the Royal Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck.

Namita Gokhale, Pramod Kumar KG, Siok Sian Dorji and Tshering Tashi are the Festival Directors.

Our advisory board includes Kunzang Choden, Malvika Singh, Meru Gokhale, Namgay Zam and Pavan Varma.

The festival is produced by Siyahi.
