I have been a part of the Mountain Echoes sessions for 2 years, a festival that celebrates the literature, art and culture and helps people bring their ideas together and share it. Words aren’t enough to express my appreciation for letting be attend a few sessions and the knowledge that I have received from it and most importantly the opportunity of meeting with great people who has set great examples for the world.
His excellency Pavan Verma the former Indian ambassador to Bhutan, the great poet Gulzar saabh, who has received international attention for his work, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi who has fan followers all over the world, Vishal Bhardwaj, Bollywood director and a very talented musician. It was an opportunity of a lifetime meeting with such great idols in person and getting to know their thoughts.
I can’t thank enough for making me a part of an literary festival that brings people and their thoughts together and understanding the culture in different forms. I am very much looking forward for the sixth edition of Mountain Echoes festival this August which is dedicated to his majesty our fourth Druk Gyalpo celebrating the 60th birth anniversary.
I am honoured to have given the opportunity to make a small contribution on my part to celebrate the occasion. I hope “Visit Bhutan 2015” which is highlighted for the next session, plays a big role in contribution to Gross National Happiness and be a success. I hope to be a part of this India-Bhutan foundation in association with Siyahi for many years to come. Thank you for this opportunity.
